6 TV Shows You Need to Watch

OK. I won't say any more BS. Here's the list!

6. The Big Big Theory

Let me start the list with a comedy show you can't hate on. Despite the show having too many technical terms that a regular human brain cannot process, this show is practically the perfect comedy to watch by any generation! It's funny, it's exciting, it's romantic, it's scientific, what else would you ask for?

This show has been a drag to watch (it's on its 8th season now, by the way), but since its most recent season, it has really been upping its game. The show has actually made so much progress by this season. No wonder why it has been renewed through season 10 since 2014. The creators definitely know what they're doing.

What you need to know before watching the show:

Don't be turned off by the fact that the show is starred by nerds. These nerds and geeks are the best kind of nerds you're ever going to watch on television! Just keep an open mind as you watch. Besides, you don't need to relate with them. You could relate with Penny (who is definitely a lot more relatable).

5. My Mad Fat Diary

Any of you interested with good British TV? Well, I got one for you!

This show is one of the most realistic teenage drama you will ever watch in your life. It talks of a teenage girl coming out of psychiatric hospital after attempting to commit suicide. It's very relatable in a sense that she is like every other girl with insecurities and boy problems. And like every other British drama, this show talks a lot about the smoking, drugs and sex. You'll never get bored watching this one! (Unless you're a guy...)

What you need to know before watching the show:

This show is both light and really heavy. It discusses a lot about mental health problems. So, it could get a little too serious for your liking, but just keep an open mind! Cause who doesn't feel a little mental sometimes? And come on, cute guysss!!

4. Gravity Falls

Okay. I know this technically is an animated TV series, but I never really specified that animated ones are off limits. Trust me, this is worth the watch!

You know how as a kid, we get creeped out by really weird stuff? Monsters? Gnomes? Magic? Boy bands? Yeah. Real creepy stuff. Well, this series follows the life of twins Dipper and Mabel as they spend their summer at their great-uncle's town, the mysterious and odd looking Gravity Falls. This show is both for kids and adults actually! It features really mysterious stuff and beliefs. Some too crazy for kids to watch, but what do they know? They don't know that the triangle means something else.

What you need to know before watching the show:

Like I said before, keep an open mind! This show is really childish at some parts. The main plot of each episode is so childish that you'd want to throw a knife at the TV, but the mysteries and the real stuff that makes up the whole series is so good that you'd want to stay along for the ride. I guarantee you that this show is 100% worth the watch!

3. Arrow

Guys, I can't even begin to describe to you how much I love this show! This. Show. Is. My. Rock.

If that's not enough proof to you how amazing this show is, then you should just stop reading this post altogether. I have to admit, I was unsure about this show's credibility when it started showing in 2012. I mean, it stars a hot guy I saw from The Vampire Diaries wearing a green hood, trying to be one of my greatest heroes of all time as a kid. NO. I was like, "Go eff yourself, weird guy with a 'stache." The show started and it was bad. JUST BAD. Four episodes in, it was fine. Then they introduced Huntress, one of my favorite anti-heros as a kid. I was so hyped and excited, but then they made her costume....and I died. It was so bad.

But then I sucked it up and watched the show until it ended its first season, and boy...was I satisfied!! OK. The first season finale was one of the most amazing and heart breaking season finales I have ever watched. It was AMAZING. So please, just watch it. Bare with it!!! Cause it would be so worth it! The show just gets better and better with time. It's on its third season now, by the way!

What you need to know before watching the show:

I was a huge DC and Batman fan going into this show, so I had a lot of hate for the first few episodes of the first season. It was so dull. So, if you're already a huge DC fan just like me, start the show at episode 21 of season 1. And Batman fans might cringe a lot with references that do not belong to Green Arrow originally, but come on! There's never gonna be a Batman series anytime soon. Just be glad they're making Arrow for a little bit of satisfaction.

2. The Flash

Seeing the picture from Arrow, you could pretty much guess that The Flash is going to be in here somewhere. I mean, where do I start?! This is the show that just keeps on giving!

I mean, Arrow? Amazing. The Flash? No words... If you're a huge DC fan, you are going to love this!! Without a doubt! This show is the best goddamn superhero series we have on TV right now, I swear! This show is the title itself. The Flash. This show lives up to what you read in the comics. It's that good!

Admittedly, I had much hate for Grant Gustin before watching this show. He's a guy I saw from Glee, and I hated him there. But coming in to The Flash, he was so great. He made me fall in love with Barry Allen. I mean, he IS Barry Allen now. This show is so good, I promise! Any comic book nerd (especially a DC fan), will love this!

BTW, the speed looks amazing in this show!

What you need to know before watching the show:

One word. Arrow. That's my only advice. Watch Arrow until season 2 before going into this one. These two shows are so unified that you wouldn't appreciate both shows as much if you don't follow the show continuity. Oh! And do your research on the superhero himself! It'll make you appreciate it a lot more!

1. How to Get Away with Murder

Scene from How to Get Away with Murder
Last but DEFINITELY not the least!! I swear to God, this is the best goddamn television series on TV. Period. That's all that I can say for this show. You cannot hate this show!! You just can't! (Well, except if you hate gay people, WHICH YOU SHOULDN'T!!)

I don't even have words to describe how much I love this show. It is created by Shonda Rhimes. You know, the same Shonda Rhimes that created Grey's Anatomy (a show that's on its 11th season) and Scandal (a show that's on its 4th season). This show is about crime, law school, sex, scandals, murders....I could go on and on for days!! This is a show that gets you at the edge of your seat every single episode! The gay sex isn't even gross! Honestly! Scout's honor!

I cannot stress how good this show is. You'd just have to see it for yourself!

What you need to know before watching the show:

Nothing. You literally don't need to know much about anything before watching this show! Because it explains itself so well throughout the whole thing. Just keep an open mind! That's all I can say! Again, I must warn you, this show has gay sex, killings, drug use, etc. So, keep an open mind!

So? What show did I miss? Tell me at the comments below! I must mention, I have not watched shows like Daredevil, Game of Thrones, and Breaking Bad. I will watch them, especially Daredevil! Despite popular belief, DC fans can also love Marvel!!!
